The Diamond Tower is crowning centerpiece of India's largest greenfield megaproject, the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) The 87-floor Diamond Tower will be India's largest commercial tower and is the largest announced tower in the GIFT skyline.

The complex is expected to be completed by 2017 and will consist of the 410 metres (1,345 ft) Diamond Tower and the core CBD of GIFT, comprising a total of 25,800,000 sq ft (2,400,000 m2). Already, 15,000,000 sq ft (1,400,000 m2) of the floorspace of this first phase has already been secured by a host of national and international companies, with MOUs for the other 10 million in the works.
